THE EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT

The Employee Free Choice Act is legislation that will allow employees to form unions by signing cards authorizing union representation, establish harsher penalties for employers who violate employee rights when workers seek to form a union, and institute new mediation and arbitration processes for first-contract disputes.
